Well I had this grand idea that I was going to have him fit inside the boot but he was to big so I had to settle for this! Still love it!

Oh this little man is just to cute and he is starting to get some chubby cheeks and rolls, nothing better than a chubby baby! He is just to sweet and content and sleepy the kid is 5 weeks old and is still only awake for like 4 hours total all day he loves to sleep even at night! He loves to look around for his sister when he is awake I love how he looks for her when he hears her voice, he loves to snuggle and to be sang to. I was so worried when I had him if I would be able to love him as much as I love Taygan and I definatly do it is amazing how much you can love your kids and love them all the same! He has brought so much love, joy and happiness to our home already I can't wait for whats to come! He loves to bath and gets to bath with sister which she loves well except for when she gets peed on yep he pees on her in the tub from time to time but she still hasn't learned to look out!

Oh this girl is just the cutest, sweetest, most full of personality thing ever she makes me smile and laugh every day she is my little princess and I could not love her more! These are a few of my favorite pictures of her recently she is getting so big and grown up, I thought she was still so little until Hayze came now she seems so big. She is such a big helper and just loves her brother she loves to hold him and read him stories and sing to him and she holds his hand and and gives him his bink when we drive she just adores him! My favorite thing she does with him though is while se say our family prayers each night she holds him and strokes his little cheek with her finger and then smothers him in kisses! oh and her nickname for him is handsome Hayze! She loves to play with her friends and cousins more than anything and everyday she asks who she gets to play with today as if its manditory to have friends over daily especially since I have been home everyday, she can play with anyone and makes friends so easily she just has that loveable friendly personality! She loves her grandmas and grandpas and loves to visit and play and be spoiled! Just can't get enough of this little girl!

I can't beleive Hayze is going to be three weeks old already this week, it has gone by way to fast and has been much easier of an adjustment than I thought it would be. Taygan has done great and she just loves and adores her baby brother she is also such a great helper she gets me diapers, warms his wipes, makes his bottles, throws his diapers away, etc. She loves to hold and snuggle him and talk baby talk to him oh and her new favorite is taking him for rides on her pony she thinks it is pretty neat!

So far he has been a great baby sleeps great, eats great, rarely crys and just loves to chill! He reminds me so much of Taygan when she was a baby, Troy and I pulled out some of her newborns pics the other day and it is amazing how much they look alike I will find a good one and post it so you can see! He had his two week checkup this week and he was already 8 lbs (26%) and he is 21.25 (78%) inches long, I think he is going to be a chubby one like Taygan oh she was so stinking cute! Cannot wait!

Meet our new little man Hayze Owen Johnson born April 7th at 7:54 am weighing in at 7lbs 12 ounces and 20.5 inches long! He looks so much like Taygy did when she was born it is crazy, he does have a lot more hair that is a lot darker though and he has darker skin. Everything went great with the c-section, apparently I am the first patient they have ever seen move themselve from the operating table to the hospital bed while in the operating room it was the craziest thing the epidural made me numb but I still had complete control of movement and feeling just not pain so weird! I did so well they let me go home the second day which was great! So far he has been a great baby as happy and content as could be and he is a great eater and his big sister just loves and adores him she is so sweet with him we could not love them more! Thanks to all of our family and friends for their help, love and support we love you all!

Easter Fun!

We decided to do some easter activities in advance since I am 36 1/2 weeks along and I had Taygan at 37 just in case! Saturday morning we took Taygy swimming in Lehi at the Rec center, if you have never been you need to go so much fun for kids it is awesome! Then last night we did easter eggs, made easter cupcakes and relaxed watching a couple of her favorite movies it was a great relaxing and fun Saturday!

So we have had a crazy last 10 days here at our house! On Thursday the 18th we took Taygan into the Dr. because she said her ear hurt, sure enough she had an ear infection so they started her on an antibiotic omnicef because she is allergic to Penicillin she was acting a little better on Friday and Saturday but Sunday she was just not feeling well and then she fevered all night Sunday so Monday I called the Dr. and they said that wasn't normal to bring her in, so back to the Dr. we went they checked her out and said she had viral tonsillitis in addition to her ear infection. Tuesday morning when she woke up she had what looked like hives starting on her belly and her upper thighs and was wheezing slightly, I again called the Dr. and they wanted to check them out so back we went they said that it was likely an allergic reaction to the antibiotic so they had us stop the antibiotic and start breathing treatments and benedryl for the reaction. By Wednesday morning she was covering in the hives, fevering, itching and felt terrible given the area they were not covering over her body we were back at the Dr.'s and this time they classified it as Erythema Multiforme which is a skin disorder due to an allergic reaction or infection, apparently omnicef and penicillin are the main causes of the allergic reaction. They told us to prepare for the worst with it because it can get really ugly and potentially very dangerous it causes fevers, joint pain, swelling, itching, burning as well as lots of other things! Thursday and Friday were the worst her feet were so swollen and covered in the skin lesions that she couldn't walk either day and fevered all day, the skin lesions were burning and itching all day and she didn't move from the couch. They had us taking her back to the Dr. daily to check up on her status until Friday evening when she had finally made a slight improvement by Saturday morning she could walk again and now she is doing a lot better! Here are some pictures of what she looked like, I am not going to share the worst they make me a little sick but you will get the idea of what we were dealing with from just these!

We are so thankful she is starting to feel better! I was stressing out really bad when they told us it could take 2-6 weeks to run its course seeing as I am due the 8th of April and that I had Taygan 3 weeks early! Now we are just hoping and praying that we can get her all the way better and keep her healthy! Oh and once we do get her better we will most likely be putting tubes in her ears given the fact that she is now allergic to two major antibiotics which really limit what they can give her and the fact that she has had 4-6 ear infections a year but I think I am actually relieved about that after what we have just gone through!

Hayze's crib bedding is finally done! It turned out so freaking cute I can't even stand it! And here are some pictures of Taygan's new big girl room, she loves her new room and her big girl bed she has actually been in it since November but I am finally almost done decorating! Oh and of course if a camera is out she has to have her picture taken don't mind the breakfast still on her face or the boogers! Love this girl!

I told you I was behind! Here are some pictures from Halloween, she was a rainbow fairy she wanted to be tinker but I am a mean Mom and wouldn't let her because that is what everyone is so we came up with our own little fairy and she loved it! Yes I know I am a major blog slacker, I promise I will try and be better! So here are some pictures from christmas etc. since I am so far behind! Things are going great for us Taygan gets bigger everyday I swear she is getting so grown up I can't even stand it I wish she would just stay little! Baby Hayze, yes we have decided on a name and it is going to be Hayze Owen Johnson, is getting bigger if I have him early like I did we Taygan which the Dr. thinks I will then I only have like 8-9 weeks left! Scary for some reason I am way more nervous with this one than I was with Taygan I keep having nightmares that I go into labor and cannot get a hold of Troy or find anyone to take Taygan kinda freaks me out not going to lie! I have been feeling great though and the nursury is almost ready I will post some pictures of it and of Taygan's big girl room later they both turned out super cute! Troy has been busy with work thank goodness he has still never slowed down which is awesome considering how everyone else is doing. Well thats all I can think of for now so here are some pictures!

Taygan has been so excited for her birthday, here is a video of her eating breakfast the other day, she was putting part of a bagel in the center of the donut like a candle then she would sing to herself and blow out the candle. By the way berkunday is birthday! She is so cute and funny she makes me laugh all day long!

Check out my cute little gymnast! Isn't she so stinking cute! This article is coming out in a magazine next month and they asked if they could use Taygan's picture for the ad! She absolutely loves gymnastics she is getting way to big! It was funny today I said something about it being her birthday tomorrow and they all thought she was going to be three they couldn't believe she was only going to be two! She talks way better than any of the others kids in her class and is the only one who is potty trained and she is the youngest so I guess they all just assumed she was older! I am sure proud of my princesses and couldn't love her more!

Check out this cute little monster! We went and had family pictures taken last friday by Highlite Photography because we hadn't had family pictures since Taygy was 6 months old and they took a few of her by herself and they posted them on their blog today! I am so in love with her new couch, you will probably be seeing it in a lot of pictures I'm afraid! I am so excited to see our family pictures but these ones of her alone turned out so freakin cute! Hope you like them as much as I do! Oh and she was way better for them then she ever is for me! I am definately going to have someone else do pictures of her at least once a year when we do our family pictures!

I just wanted to post these pictures of the princess and her daddy today, these were taken while they were playing in the backyard on the swingset before we went to the BBQ, I love the one of them together and the one of her eyes looking at me through the ladder, so cute! Troy is such a great daddy, Taygan couldn't love him more, I am so thankful that she has such a great Daddy that loves and adores her so much! I am also greatful for my Dad, he is my best bud, I cannot go a day without talking to him and Taygan loves to talk to her Papa on the phone these days it is pretty funny, she leaves him cute messages when he doesnt answer her many calls! Well as you can see from the pictures Taygan LOVES to read! This morning while I was getting ready I snuck in to check on what she was doing because she was being very quite which usually means she is doing something she shouldn't be doing and this is what I found! It was so cute I couldn't help but take a few pictures (okay maybe more than a few)! She was not happy about the cat jumping up on her couch and interrupting her reading, she was cussing the cat out, she kept throwing her off and the cat would just jump right back up it was so funny. My favorite part about her reading is that she actually thinks she is reading, she just talks away. Man I love this girl, she is one of a kind! My favorite picture is the first one and the ones of her yelling at the cat.

Usually you get to see the monster all done up and looking cute, but here are some cute orphan girl pictures of her having some fun! She is so full of personality and has gotten quite the mind of her own lately! She loves the water and would stay in it all day if I would let her! She loves to sing songs, she sings lullaby's to her babies all the time and her new favorite song to sing is Jingle Bells, I know it is a little off season and I shouldn't encourage it but it is so cute I can't stand it, instead of saying Jingle Bells she sings "Mingle Bells" and it is adorable! She is big into riding the horses lately, she has lost interest in the ponies and prefers the big horses, her favorite horse is Senior and she rides him a couple times a week and lately she insists upon wearing her boots everywhere! Stay tuned for some pictures of her new swing set that was delivered today! She has been dying for Daddy to get home so he can put it together for her!

Wrangler butts drive me nuts!

Mom put that thing away!This post is for Jen since she said I really needed to update my blog! Here are some pictures of my shabby apple baby (see pic on side), I don't know but I think my Shabby Apple Princess is way cuter! These are some pictures of the Leland stock show we went to for uncle Wylie, Taygan loves sheep, she loves to ride them and she also thinks that the pigs are pretty neat, she is definitely an animal child! I will probably have another post for you either tonight or tomorrow some time, we went to the Zoo yesterday and it was so much fun! Taygan loved the train and the giraffes! We also set her pool up last night and she had a ball in it with her best little buddy Kinsley. I will try and be better about posting I promise!

Easter & Playing outside

The first three pictures are of Taygy in her Easter dress in the front yard, it was windy and cold and she lasted all of like two minutes but I got a few cute ones of her anyways. She loved Easter she especially thought that the Easter egg hunts were fun, she was totally into and even after everyone else was done she was still out hunting for treats! She loved what the bunny brought her and was super excited especially for the Easter balloons, man the Easter bunny was smart to know that bubbles and balloons are her favorite things! My Mom and her man Mike were here for the weekend so she got to play lots with them and she also got to she her cousin Kaston, Korbin and Konley who she hasn't gotten to see since Christmas which was fun. She learned to say all their names before they got here, she was practicing all week, my favorite is the way she says Konley I think it is going into my top 5 cute words for now! Other than that we have just been trying to play outside as much as we can, we hate to be inside and I wish that this stupid weather would quit teasing us and that it would just stay warm! The other pictures are of Taygan playing in her wagon and riding the 4-wheeler with one of her best buds Luke, I will post some pictures of her and her best friend Olivia riding her 4-wheeler soon, they are so cute, it is Taygan's tiny little battery powered 4-wheeler that is tiny and they both think they need to ride on it together, they totally exceed the weight limit but it drives just fine with them both and they love it so what they heck but it looks so funny you have got to see it!

Squeaky Shoes!

So Taygan all the sudden grew two shoe sizes literally overnight and none of her shoes fit, so her and I went shoe shopping this week and we found some of the squeaky shoes that were way cute so I put them on her in the store and she went to take a step and realized that they squeaked and she loved it, she ran around the store saying "I squeak, I squeak" it was so funny! She loves her new shoes!

Also, her hair is getting super thick and long, it is so pretty and I am able to try some new hairdos out on her! I have lots of fun ideas that I have just been waiting to try!

Other than that things have been about the same just work and playing with Taygan, we are really looking forward to the warm weather so that we can do some bike riding and play outside, I am so sick of this weather, I tell Troy everyday that we are moving to Arizona!

Yes this is my child eating the grass she just picked! She likes to eat dirt and rocks as well!

I know I am a major blog slacker these days! Well here are some pictures for you of our little Taygy! She is getting so big, she is going to be 18 months on Sunday! I have no idea where the time has gone by. She is talking so well, she can say so many new words a few of my new favorites are "Really" and "Maybe"! She is so fun and full of personality.

We just got home from a trip to Moab, we had a really good time, Troy's boss paid for us to go so that was even better! We did a lot of hiking, we rented a Jeep one day and went Jeeping, we swam alot, shopped, ate out at our favorite breakfast place in the world Jail House and we just hung out, it was so much fun. Other than that we have not been up to much, but I promise I will get better at blogging!

Since it has been a while I though I would update everyone on some of Taygan's new favorite things. First off she is obsessed with dolls! She pretty much packs a baby doll with her wherever she goes. She loves Elmo she thinks he is way cool! She loves her new horse Grandpa Jeff & Stacey got her for Christmas but she cannot ride it unless she has on her cowgirl hat ( I will post pics way cute). She loves shoes and jewelry, she is all girl! She loves her sled daddy bought her and she especially likes it when her dog Oaklee pulls her around the field in her sled (I will video it next time we go out it is pretty funny) even though she gets thrown around a bit when she takes off. Her new thing she does that is so cute is when you tell her it is time for the prayer she folds her little arms and says amen, it kinda melts my heart when she does it and makes me want to cry a little, she is such a sweet little spirit and I don't know what I would do without her! She loves to eat lettuce plain, yes plain and if it is an option she will eat nothing else, she also love guacamole she will eat it by the spoon full and pretty much anything else that is healthy for her which is great she is so not a sweets girl. She has become a way bad Mommy's girl, when I leave the room she has a breakdown which is quite flattering but also a little difficult at times and she is totally into the loving thing right now she always wants to give hugs and kisses which is fine by me! She is such a fun girl everyday I am amazed by her I could not love her more and I am so thankful to be her Mommy!

So I have totally been slacking at the whole blog thing! The last post I did was around Halloween time! So here is an update on what we have been doing, we went to Arizona the beginning part of November for my Mom's surprise 50th birthday party (yeah she is getting old) and we had a great time. For Thanksgiving we went to St. George to spend some time with Troy's parents it was sure nice to get away from the cold and to spend some time with them, Troy got to go 4-wheeling with his dad and I got to go visit my cousin Natalie and her Baby Ruby who I hadn't gotten to meet yet which was fun, I also got to go see my old step dad Gordie and catch up with him which was good. December was crazy and busy with parties and everything, Troy has been very busy at work, they are doing the new grocery store in Salem and he has been working like crazy trying to get it done in time he also got to go to the bowl game in Vegas to watch BYU with his Dad and I got to have a girls night which was a blast! For Christmas my Mom rented a cabin in Flagstaff Arizona so we got to spend Christmas Eve and the holidays with all of my brothers and their families which was way fun, it was fun to watch all the kids Christmas morning. We had lots of Wii playing, cooking, sledding and just hanging out which was tons of fun, we always have fun when we are together. Well I think that is about it for the update, I will post some pictures of the holidays and what has been happening with us here soon.

Fall/Halloween Fun at Hee Haw's!

Last Saturday we went to Hee Haw's in Pleasant Grove for the afternoon, we had so much fun. Taygan loved seeing the animals and petting them, she couldn't quite understand why she had to get off the pony, she wanted to keep going and didn't want the other kids to ride it, she thought she could ride as long as she wanted like she does at papa's. She sure loves horses, it is way cute. She got to go down the hay slide (Dad went down way faster than he thought he would, he almost dropped her), she rode the animal train, went on a trick er treat hayride (she loved her treats), she went to the pumpkin patch and did lots of other fun things. It kills me how big she is getting, she thinks she is so grown up it really makes me sad but she is so fun and I love to see her experience new things.

No one believes me when I tell them she can say her own name, they think she is to young so I decided to take a video of it to prove everyone wrong! Sorry the picture quality sucks, I had to take it with my way old camera because my one I got for my B-Day decided it doesn't want to work anymore! Here it is, you may have to turn the volume up a bit oh and don't mind the bed head, she was just getting done with breakfast and was still in her PJ's.

Also, not to brag or anything but Taygan's Dr. is always saying how Taygan is his cutest patient, so yesterday I took her in for a checkup and there were two new nurses there and they were going crazy over her so we are sitting in the room waiting and I can hear the Dr. and the nurses talking outside, so he comes in and says well the nurses were out there just telling me that the cutest patient they had ever seen was in here and without even looking at the chart I told them I bet it is Taygan and he was right! He said I know you probably get this all the time but she really is the cutest and most charming patient I have ever had and I see a lot a patients! I told him I think so to but I am probably a little partial!!! Needless to say they all love her at the Dr. office and she loves to go which makes things much easier for me!

I just wanted to wish my Hubby a happy birthday, and tell him how much Taygan, Oaklee and I love him and appreciate all he does. He always puts our family first and is the best daddy there is, his girls just love him (by girls I mean Taygan & Oaklee sorry no other baby yet Mom :) Thanks Hubby for all you do, I could not ask for a better Husband and father to my girls.

For his birthday I surprised him and took him to the BYU game last Saturday and got him some new BYU gear, it was way fun, we have never been to a game together and we don't really get much alone time anymore so we both loved it. Thanks to Dad and Stacey for watching Taygan and to our neighbors the Almodovas for getting us tickets.

In honer of his birthday I decided to finally do this Husband Tag so here it goes:

1. Where did you meet? We were set up by my Grandma Barney and his parents, his parents were my Grandparents home teachers. My Grandma kept telling me she was going to set me up with this guy and I kept telling her no but she ended up giving him my number anyways and the rest is history!

4. What is your favorite feature of his? I love his tan skin and the eyes!

11. What is your favorite thing to do as a couple? Playing with Taygan is one of them but alone we love to play Sequence in bed, we are both way to competitive but it is fun, and yes I always win!!!

14. Who said I love you first? Definitely him, I had totally won him over :) he couldn't resist.

Thanks to everyone who came to Taygan's first birthday party! Taygan loves all of the fun toys, books, cloths and blankets. Her birthday party was so much fun, she loved being the center of attention, she loved having her uncle Wylie and cousins help her open all of her gifts, but she was not so sure about having everyone sing to her and watch her eat her cake! I had fun making the food and yes I baked and decorated the cupcakes myself! I know, I know I am becoming quite the domestic goddess! Thanks again to everyone for celebrating this special day with us!

Taygan is such a happy little girl, she never crys, she loves to play with her dog Oaklee, listen to music, dance, ride horses, ride the 4-wheeler with Daddy, go for walks, play with kids, especially her babysitters kids they just love each other. She loves to wave, give fives, give kisses, hug, blow kisses and play peek a boo. Some of her favorite foods are scrambled eggs, applesauce, peas, green beans and PBJ Sandwiches. Check out our cute little bunny! Troy and I had been debating on what to have her be for Halloween, first she was going to be a Colts Cheerleader but I thought it would be to cold so I started looking for other costumes, I found a really cute black kitty costume that I loved and then this cute little bunny, Troy really wanted the bunny but I was hesitant but decided to let him choose and I am glad I did because she looks way cute in her little bunny costume!

I cannot believe that little Taygy Lee is almost one! She is getting so grown up, she doesn't think she is a baby anymore. Her new thing is that she points to everything and says that, she wants to know what everything is. She also thinks that she is hilarious, she cracks up at herself all day long, she thinks everything she does is so funny, Troy and I get a kick out of just watching her laugh at herself that's pretty much our entertainment. Well that is the update on little Taygan, Troy has been very busy with work they have been working overtime pretty much all year which is great considering that there are so many other people in construction that are without work right now. We sold his 4-wheeler this past week and we are going to be getting a Rhino he could not be more excited about that and he is looking forward to the hunts. I have been staying busy with work and taking pictures, work has been busy for me as well and my photography business is starting to pick up, I hope to just be doing pictures before to long. Oakley's milk is almost all dried up and she is so glad to have the puppies gone, she has calmed down so much since she had them and she is finally starting to look normal again. Well that is it for the family update!

As you can see Taygan's hair was out of control and it was driving me nuts so she got her first hair cut this week. I am sad that we won't be able to do her cute little pony tails for a while but it looks much better and hopefully this will help it grow in thicker and more even. She was sooo good while we were cutting it, it only took like 5 minutes and she didn't even move, we took the clippers to the sides and back with the longest blade on and then took like 1 1/2 inches off the top, I didn't realize how long it was until we cut it.

Poor Oaklee

Poor Oaklee, she is such a good Mom but I bet she cannot wait until the puppies are gone! The puppies are six weeks old now and they are so chubby and cute, I am going to be sad when they leave but I think Troy, Taygan and Oaklee are going to be glad. Troy is sick of cleaning up poop for six dogs, Taygan is sick of being used as a chew toy and being licked to death and Oaklee, well those poor tits I don't know how much more they can handle. We only have one left so if you know of anyone who may want one let us know!

Here is a picture from the parade, it was a fun weekend, Grandma Karma came up from Arizona and went to the parade with us as well, we got to go to rodeo that night, Taygan only lasted about 3/4 of the way through since it was way past her bed time she is usually sound asleep by 7pm and the rodeo didn't even start until 8pm but she loved it she kept clapping at everything it was cute. And she loved picking on and pulling Aunt Brooke and cousin Kashton's hair who were fortunate enough to get to sit in front of us! On Friday my Mom watached Taygan while Troy and I went to Lagoon it was a blast, I love the new ride the Wicked! On Saturday we went with my Mom up to Park City and went shopping and then we went down the Alpine Coaster which is so much better than the slide, it was awesome and I have to admit I was a little scared. It was a great 24th weekend filled with lots of fun stuff and we got to spend lots of time with my Mom and rest of the family which was great!

Little Wylie is 9 years old! I cannot beleive it, it seems like just yesterday when he was Taygan's size, it really makes me feel old. Taygan loved helping uncle Wylie open his presents but I am not so sure he was as excited about it as she was but he was a good sport. I cannot wait until her birthday, she is going to love it!

Taygan loves riding the horses, if Grandpa & Stacey have anything to do with it she will be quite the little cowgirl! She is so funny, she thinks she has to hold the reins and if the horse stops she just starts kicking to get him to go again.

Zoo

These are from our family trip to the zoo! We took uncle Wylie, Taygan's best friend and they had a blast. Taygan's favorite thing was the monkey's she loved them. The zoo is so much more fun when you have kids! Before we got to the zoo we had a little accident, Taygan had a major blow out and of course it is the one time I forget to pack an extra outfit so we had to make a trip to K-Mart and get her some new shorts, lets just say lesson learned!
